How to generate 3D models from text prompts with Alpha3D AI Model Generator:

1. Sign up or log in to Alpha3D. Your first 50 models are on us!
2. Navigate to “Add a new project”: Select “Anything (text to 3D)” in the Category dropdown.
3. Describe your vision: Write a text prompt describing what you want to generate in 3D and hit the “Generate” button.
4. Watch it come to life: Alpha3D’s AI Model Generator will render the 3D model for you automatically in a few seconds.

• Create an account on Alpha3D (if you don’t already have an existing account).
• Generate 3D models with Alpha3D: Upload 2D images of objects or use text prompts to generate 3D models in minutes.

Open Alpha3D assets in Omniverse

Get started with NVIDIA Omniverse by downloading the standard license free, or learn how Omniverse Enterprise can connect your team.

• Sign into your Omniverse account.
• Find Alpha3D in the extensions tab and enable the extension. This will prompt you to log in to your account.

• The 3D assets from your Alpha3D account will be automatically imported.

• If you don’t have any 3D assets generated on Alpha3D yet, you can pick a stock 3D model from the Alpha3D Gallery in the Alpha3D Omniverse extension.

• Drag and drop the 3D asset you’d like to continue with.

• Manage and deploy your 3D assets in Omniverse. After your 3D models have been selected, they will be available for management and deployment in the Omniverse platform.

At the moment, we’ve only launched the natural language-based 3D modeling feature for one product category: shoes. We picked shoes as the first product category to train and test the AI on because that’s one of the more popular categories requested by our customers but also due to the volume of training data we had access to. However, we’ll be adding new categories, that we’re teaching the AI with at the moment, very soon.

The system is based on the latest advancements in machine learning, which enables the system to understand and interpret natural language descriptions. The AI then generates a 3D model of the shoe, taking into account factors such as color, material, texture, and style.

The partnership will accelerate the development of Alpha3D’s powerful new artificial intelligence (AI) solution to convert text or a 2D image of an object into a 3D digital asset for use in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).

“One of the key aspects of the partnership is data sharing between the two platforms, which will allow us to significantly accelerate the training of our AI-powered 3D content creation platform. The tens of thousands of data points of input images and output 3D models we receive from Threedium on a monthly basis allow our AI to learn to automatically generate more accurate and better quality 3D digital assets at scale” says Madis Alesmaa, CEO at Alpha3D.

Creating 3D content from scratch is a notoriously costly, time-consuming, and complex process. Alpha3D’s mission is to turn it around and make 3D content creation accessible, fast and simple for everyone, regardless of their 3D modeling experience and knowledge.
